Say About The Weekend
This place is absolutely fantastic. Refreshes you. The course was really great as well. It really wakes you up to the things we more often than not, ignore. Made me feel a lot more connected with myself and got to know myself better. A really supportive group and recommend it to anyone (18-25)
The venue is perfect for this project. A great place for reflection. The program was very well delivered, easy to understand. I learned a great deal about myself and have gained an insight into my friends and loved ones. I am now prepared to make the changes needed to improve my life which will ultimately improve the lives of my family. I would recommend this program to anyone. The topics covered, and things you learn have a positive impact on your personal life as well as your profession. (46-55)
Spending the weekend with Wendy and Ben allowed me the time to really think about my life, and most important, how to change some of those unwanted things in a positive and life affirming way. This was all done in a wonderful nurturing environment surrounded by the natural bush. Thank you. I will never be the same again (56-65)
This has been a revealing and challenging time of reflection. The material that Wendy has prepared is extremely effective in making one dig deep and make necessary changes. The program is well paced and the environment relaxing – an ideal opportunity for serious contemplation. Catering has been excellent – well done and thanks. (46-55)
A fantastic place with friendly hosts. I had a great weekend, learnt about myself and met some wonderful people. (36-45)
A weekend of inner exploration of your life full of exciting tastes of tools for life. Nurturing and nourishing in all sorts of ways. Creatively, smart and educational opportunity to relax, contemplate and made transition in your live (65+)
We all need to take stock in our lives, and reconnect with nature. Wellington Forest cottages & retreats are intrinsically linked. A 4 yr social work degree was the most expensive therapy/understanding – but theoretical knowledge and evidence base learning was essential to me. This retreat has peeled one layer off and loosened some barriers for me to now move from ‘pre contemplation to action’. So from a human services practitioner who came close to ‘burnout’ – THANK YOU (46-55)
Very grateful to have experienced the weekend it put me in touch of where I was emotionally – just the right timing for sorting and making sense of my internal chaos.
Thanks for the energy and passion you have both put into creating this wonderful weekend. I came on Friday not really sure what I was getting into. The entire weekend was a fabulous opportunity to examine my life and who I am in a gentle, non-threatening but very honest way. Wendy you presented in such a comfortable, knowledgeable and authentic manner – there was not a moment when I didn’t feel interested or engaged by the material. Thank you also for your honesty and courage you showed when talking about your own experiences- I think this helped many others to do the same. At this moment I feel certain that I am going to put these actions into place to change some area of my life – it was also a wonderful opportunity to do this as a couple – has made a huge difference already to the communication between my partner and myself. (46-55)
This course if great for people wanting to change those life priority areas of their life. It’s an encouraging environment to face the issues you need to succeed in whatever you want to do. I came out feeling “YES I can do this!” (36-45)
